(as you can see from the photo, the hotteok is distinctly out of shape and definitely doesn't look like a hotteok)

I've wanted to try making hotteok for a while just for fun, so I got to it today and finally made it!

I'm not an excellent cook and also this is my first time making this so to me, I don't think it turned out to be the best thing I've made because the inside didn't taste syruppy like the recipe said it would. I think if I had turned the heat down and let it simmer for about 30 seconds, I could have got it right. Also, for me getting the balls into shape was difficult for me because I struggled to fold the sides of the pastry over the top efficiently.

Like many people said, it resembles a doughnut in texture and taste. I deep fried mine(which I probably wasn't meant to do) so to me, it reminded me of lokma. It gave me a sense of nostalgia because I used to have this delicacy when I was a child and I haven't touched a fresh one for ages.

In conclusion, I have mixed feelings about what the result was and I feel that I need to try hotteok from some who isn't me lol

Good evening, guys! I hope you're all OK. I heard about a new Megamind film, which led me inquiring about it and now I'm watching it.

I'm already half an hour into the film and I have a few questions already:

1. Judging from the animation quality, was this actually made by Dreamworks? This really does look like something from Disney Jr.

2. Was this aimed towards specifically children rather than encompassing all ages, given from both the animation and the storyline? It looks like something made for a much younger demographic, unlike the previous film where both kids and adults could enjoy it.

3. Last but definitely not least, if the original actors weren't even coming back and the animation and the storyline were all horrendous, was there a point to making this film in the first place?

If you want me to be honest, it both amuses and disappoints me how you can compare the first film, which is a gem of my childhood, to the horseshit sequel that we have just received. I'm still shocked, appalled and have many questions I can't convey into words yet.

I don't know. Maybe I'm being pessimistic or this is really just an abysmal movie. I would encourage everyone to watch it and evaluate for themselves whether they enjoyed it or if this was just a massive waste of time. To me, to see Megamind again in a brand new film was indeed interesting but like many sequels, this one greatly flopped, only fourfold.

At the end of the day, this is just my opinion, which seems to resonate with many others as well. I hope you all have a great night! :)

I made a remix of an old Rai song called "Abdel Kader" by Khaled, Rachid Taha, and Faudel. It was a song I heard when I was younger and it was only recently I found out what the song was called after all these years.

I thought the song could be remade in the glitch-hip genre but I put it off for months due to laziness and musical block haha

I'm still deciding whether to release it on here due to it being a remix and/or Soundcloud. I'll decide tomorrow because it's very late at night. Take care, guys! :)

Good evening! Long time, no see, everybody! I hope you're all doing OK.

I wasn't even aware that my birthday was coming up until people started reminding me and now I'm quite excited. 🙃

The thing is that I don't know what else to do. I'll have some pancakes for breakfast, go to school, then have dinner with my family. I feel satisfied but I feel like I could be doing more as well, like going out somewhere(can't think of a place) and I don't want to excite myself too much if nothing else is going to happen.

I have a feeling that when it becomes the 13th, nothing else will happen and everyone will move on with life. Personally that's the experience I've been having for the last few years.

Maybe a birthday isn't meant to be that special. After all it is just a day where you were born because to be honest, I don't think anyone thinks about the moment they were born during that period because everyone is busy having fun. Maybe it's just me.

I thought I'd also talk about other stuff, since I have been absent for a long period of time.

My studies are going well, however I'm seeing my discipline go down slightly because I started playing Geometry Dash more due to 2.2 being released 😄. I like the update itself a lot: I find that it's very difficult to find what icons suit my style though because I don't like the new ones. This is my only complaint.

I haven't been doing too much with the new features(not to say they aren't out of this world) but recently I've just been stargrinding, and have somehow accumulated over 1000 stars within under a month, which I'm quite proud of.

In terms of my weight, I used to weigh around 185 pounds in the summer but now I fluctuate between 170 and 173 pounds, which to me is a major accomplishment. What I want to do now is build muscle all over my body with the remaining fat I have, which sounds achievable to me.

I can't come up with any more ideas for music or finish off projects that I've started so I don't see myself releasing any new songs unfortunately. I think recently I've been going through a major block which I don't know how to get out of.

I think that's all that's on my mind. I'd like to start posting here more often so I will try to make a post every month hopefully. I hope you all have a great evening and please take care of yourselves! 😀

I got my results today and I was left shocked.

I still don't know how I passed English literature, two marks away from a grade 5. It was my worst subject and I hated it so much. I had a passion for English language but somehow I only got a grade 3.

Apparently, I was also two marks away from getting a grade 5 in computer science.

I was hoping to get much higher results from Spanish, considering I got a grade 8 in my last mock exam.

I couldn't care less about geography so I left half the papers blank, thus explaining how I got a grade 2. 😆

The good news is that I don't have to resit any exam papers if I'm staying at my school as they only need one English exam.

I'm still really happy as I have passed 6/8 exams and I can proceed to study finance.

Also, I forgot to say that during the summer holiday, I had an idea for a new game and started development on Construct 2. If I have time during the weekend, I might continue with it and do a preview.

EDIT: I never expected this day to come but I just verified Red Room.

Instead of having red and white as my colour scheme, I'm gonna have black and white instead. I think that a little change is nice and the aesthetic is appealing to me as well: I'm interested to know what you guys think about it though.

Also, I'm nearly finished with my new song. I'm super excited to release this! I tried adding a few techniques which I've never used before. I'm still not sure what to call it though.

Yesterday, I was walking to the buffet I was gonna eat at and a guy was giving away free KitKats because he bought a packet(buying the packet is probably cheaper than buying more singulars) and it was too much for him to eat.

I took it, thanked him and I ate the chocolate a little after I broke my fast.

Yesterday me and my family took a trip to London. These are the photos that I took:

I've ridden a bike. We rode for about 20 minutes then we were trying to find a lock for about 15 minutes because most of them were taken.

We went to Chinatown twice; the first time on the bikes and the second time by walking. We didn't do much here except wander around and buy a drink but that was still nice.

We walked in Picadilly Circus. I don't think there's very much to say except the way the ads are displayed looked cool.
