SpeedoRH responds:

Thank you so much. Wish you a merry Christmas!

This is epic! :D

rherdalaezian responds:

thx dude :D.

Amazing! Very cheerful and upbeat melodies. I like the kick that you've used. Is it just a default one or did you get it from a sample pack(like me)?

The tempo is a little slower, unlike your other songs. Some slow music is nice and I particularly enjoyed this one! :)

Tips: For the build-up, add a riser(you can either get it from cymatics packs or make your own) and some white noise(at least add reverse cymbals, or both if you can, that's what I do).

Try to raise the pitch of your drums by using something like a pitch shifter(make an automation track and connect your pitch knob to it). Using the same pitch for the snare during a build-up will sound a little dull and rising the pitch during that time is perfect(make sure you raise it back down to its original pitch once that period has ended!).

I hope my feedback is useful.

Be sure to keep up the good work! :D

Edit: Some of the tips I have said, you may not be able to understand too well because you have different software from me but I hope you get the basic idea of what I'm saying.

rherdalaezian responds:

yeah I don't think I can do as much as you on Mixcraft :)
thanks for the feedback as usual!!! (I do use reverse cymbals)

Yo, this is awesome! This might be my favourite song from you. Good work! :)

Can I please remix it?

rherdalaezian responds:

omg. yes you can

Congrats on frontpage, dude!

rherdalaezian responds:

OH MY GOD

That's so awesome! The beginning was dope and was my favourite part. Well done, man! :)

I need to make my own remix of a traditional song.

rherdalaezian responds:

as usual, great review! ty

This feels like a house beat to me. I really enjoyed the percussion, although the melody played on top was very random and I felt that it didn't suit the track.

Try finding a generic chord progression then make a melody on top of that and see how you do.

Keep going! :)

FlakeyMusic responds:

Thank you! Yes I am trying to find better options, thanks for the advice :)

Wow, your music is getting so much better! I'm really impressed with the progress you have made during just this year!

Which presets do you use, BTW? I'm kinda interested in using them(if it's not a long ting) because they sound very good.

I'm wondering one thing about your song now: Do you use EQ on your instruments and drums? Doing this is necessary because it'll make your track sound much crisper. To know whether your preset is EQed or not, you need to lower or boost the knobs to make the spectrum equal.

In LMMS, this is visualised with how high the sound goes. In FL, it seems to be represented with opacity. I'm not too sure about Bandlab, to be honest.

I hope this review helps. Have a good day and keep improving! :D

rherdalaezian responds:

presets are sounds right? if that's right then I mainly use Techno Throwback for drums (mostly) and plucked lead for one of the leads. and i'm pretty sure i use EQ.

I make music for fun, but actually have no idea what all these terms mean LMAO

Yo, this is sick! I really love it! Well done! :)

SpeedoRH responds:
